Group Classes and Course Offerings
Group training classes offer clients affordability and the chance to meet and train with other dogs and their owners. Classes follow a set curriculum with the ability to differentiate somewhat for individual needs. Classes are kept small to a maximum of four dogs. Clients receive class notes and helpful resources after each lesson. All group classes are subject to sufficient enrolment.

Raising a young puppy is fun, but has its challenges. Puppy Start Right helps get you and your puppy on the right road to a great life together.
Puppy Start Right is for puppies aged 8-14 weeks and is designed to get young puppies off to a fabulous start in life with a family. The course is very comprehensive and focusses on important socialization skills as well as establishing good manners and habits for a well-behaved dog that you can take anywhere.

Foundations in Training and Marvellous Manners is for human-canine teams of any age who need the basics for a well-mannered, happy dog.
Foundations in Training and Marvellous Manners lives up to its name. This course is jam packed full of the most essential training skills for both ends of the leash. It’s an excellent next step for puppies who have completed Puppy Start Right though doing such a puppy class is not mandatory. It is also perfect for newly adopted older dogs or any dog whose basic skills and manners need some work. The course helps dog owners develop their skills in training their dog and build a trusting relationship so that they can reach their training goals. In the process, dogs learn to come when called, to walk nicely on leash, stationary behaviours and some impulse control.

Defeating Distractions
With a high-powered sniffer, sharp hearing and eyes that pick up slight movements, a dog’s world is full of tantalizing distractions. Wouldn’t you love your dog to be able to resist the from the food on the table, garbage on the street or running after that kid playing ball? This course gives owners and dogs the skills and strategies to cope with and choose better behaviours around common distractions.

Teenager Tune-Up
The adolescent stage can be a turbulent time in any species and dogs are no exception. At times, it can feel like your puppy is possessed by some demon and their training has gone down the toilet. The teenage brain is under construction, undergoing all sorts of changes which can result in some challenging behaviour, but it also creates an opportune time for learning and honing skills. Training an adolescent dog requires a special skill set and approach that is taught in Teenager Tune-Up. The course includes:
honing training mechanics
consolidating and advancing foundation behaviours (recalls, leash manners, stationary behaviours)
developing engagement and focus
impulse control and emotional regulation
working with distractions
training and maintaining calm behaviours

Party Tricks
Your dog can be the life of the party and impress your guests with his repertoire of delightful tricks. Tricks are not just for entertainment but are a great way to give your dog enrichment, develop your training skills and strengthen your bond with your dog. Dogs may learn enough tricks to achieve the Novice Trick Dog title. Come with a clicker, treats and sense of fun!
